Dax was amazed
as he listened to what he
was hearing. "Wow... except visitors,
like us? Right?"
|
|
|
"Right,"
replied the alien. "You are different." Then the alien
said, "I really like your ears. I wish I had ears."
Dax's
eyes lit up and he said, "Oh thank you. Can you show us anything
else to do on your planet? Any toys, any pets, any games?"
The
alien just replied, "No, there isn't anything else. Everything
is the same, all the time... We all do the same, eat the same, walk
and talk the same. Nothing new, nothing different. That's all now.
I must go. I don't have anything else to show or tell you."
