Dax's mother had been listening and watching everything as they toured the planet Boring with their alien hosts.

She turned to Dax and said, "Well, Dax, it really is time to be going home. You haven't even had your breakfast yet, and school will be starting soon. That is if you think you are ready to go to school today."

They thanked their unusual hosts and said goodbye. Dax took his mother's hand and they blasted off into space.
